„Angel – Fallen Angel 3“ – written by @brookeblaine1 and @ellafrank1
Summary (From Amazon):
“As Fallen Angel embarks on their worldwide Corruption tour, frontman Halo is forced to deal with his newfound fame, as well as his intense feelings for his bandmate, Viper.
Because now Halo has everything he ever dreamed of and one surprise he never expected: a boyfriend.
And Viper has the one thing he never thought he wanted but found himself chasing down: a relationship.
From the very beginning, they were drawn to each other, but can these polar opposites find lasting love, or will their flame burn out?” (Short description from Amazon).
Review:
I was hyped. Full of Anticipation. The need to finish work and get home – to read this book. And then… I was so, so disappointed. All the way through the book, I’ve searched for a plot. Something, anything that looked like a storyline.
Please, believe me when I say that I hate writing reviews that are less than 4 stars. But this one? “Halo” was great, “Viper” was fucking amazing, but “Angel”? I knew that it concludes the story of those two but I’ve expected so much more.
We’ve got pages with “I love you’s”, “Why is he loving me” – “How can it be that he’d chosen me”. That’s all we get here.
I’ll give 3 stars to this book.
1 star for a really hot and well-written stage performance.
1 star for the epic piano. Even if that’s a little over the top, but well, I kinda like the idea behind that.
1 star for the amazing cover.
I missed Viper a bit. He was such a great character throughout the first two books, but in here he turns into a cute little snake. He’s soft, he’s shy (when it comes to meeting Halos parents e.g.), he doesn’t run his mouth the way I was used to. He’s the perfect husband, even though he isn’t the relationship kind of guy.
And then, this Levi-guy appears. And Killian is head over heels for the guy? At the end, as soon as I’ve read that there will be a 4th book of this series I was out. I won’t read that.
Because after reading the 3rd book, I was soooo disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much. But even a “Conclusion” of a love story can have more than the stuff I named above. There was sooo much potential behind this idea. But all I got was sex on a new piano, a soft Bad Boy (cliché is screaming in my face) and to much confessions of their love.
3/5. Sadly.
